The New Antimicrobial Agents session, taking place at IMARI 2027 in Las Vegas, January 27-29, 2027, will highlight antibacterial (including Mycobacteria) or antifungal projects that are in or entering clinical development. The project must have completed IND-enabling toxicity testing with an established safety margin prior to presentation at the meeting.
Selected projects will be featured in the scientific program through both an oral presentation during the New Antimicrobial Agents session and a poster presentation. By submitting this application, applicants acknowledge and agree that, if accepted, they are committing to participate in both presentation formats.
Projects will be selected based on the diversity of subject matter and the stage of development.

- Notification of Acceptance: By December 16, 2026
- Selection decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, submissions must meet the following criteria:
- A novel compound must be presented.
- For small molecules, the chemical structure must be shown during the presentation.
- IND-enabling toxicology studies must have been completed for the compound, with a sufficient safety margin demonstrated.
- The project is currently in or entering clinical development.
- The compound has company approval for public disclosure and is at least scheduled for Phase I development.
- The presentation must be data-driven.
- If selected, the presenting author will be scheduled to present both:
- An oral presentation during the New Antimicrobial Agents session.
- A poster presentation during one of the conference’s scheduled poster sessions.
