Travel Award Information
Get Funding to Present Your Research
Selected recipients will receive a travel award to defray expenses associated with travel to IMARI 2027. Please note that travel award funds are limited to $500-750 and are not intended to cover the full cost of attendance. Applicants should plan to secure additional funding from other sources to support their travel, if selected.
A limited number of discounted registrations will also be awarded to Trainees selected to present oral abstracts or high impact abstracts, as selected by the program committee.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, individuals must:
- Be a student or postdoctoral fellow.
- Be a clinical resident or fellow.
- Have an accepted scientific abstract that has not been previously published or presented at another national or international conference.
Additional Information:
- Travel award funds are non-transferable.
- Awards will be issued after the conference, upon confirmation of the recipient’s attendance.
- Recipient’s will be notified if they are selected on Wednesday, September 16.
How To Apply
Abstract submissions and travel award requests open June 10 and will close August 19.
You can apply during the IMARI 2027 abstract submission process. While completing the steps to submit your abstract, select ‘Yes’ for the question ‘Would you like to be considered for a travel grant?’ and ensure you have uploaded all supporting documentation and meet the eligibility requirements outlined above.
